Kyle will tell you he came to Cleveland before “Cleveland was cool”. He attended Case Western Reserve School of Law and after graduation started practicing law in Canton, Ohio. Over the past 7 years, Kyle has been building a successful commercial litigation practice focused on business disputes and torts in the construction and healthcare industries with an emphasis on IP/Trademark matters. Since joining BMD in 2017, he has carved out a niche for himself. In addition to his litigation practice, he has an “emergency motion practice.”
Currently, he is working on several projects: managing the discovery and efile process for a large construction litigation matter which involves a dispute between our client and the subcontractor; a trademark case with claims against our client as well as filing the countersuit against the plaintiff; and a music industry dispute between the members of prominent local rock band.
We asked Kyle, what do you enjoy most about your job. His answer:
“Solving problems. I enjoy helping clients get through tough challenges. Usually there is an issue by the time a client needs to consult a litigation attorney. I love to strategize to find creative solutions and ultimately a successful result for my client.”
Kyle recently became a father with the birth of his son, Barrett. While Kyle enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with his family, he also finds time to give back to his local community. He is very involved with Pathway Caring for Children in Canton, Ohio which is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of children and families through foster care, mental health services and post-adoption and kinship. They currently serve over 800 families in Northeast Ohio.
