  Public Sector Practice

• • Has provided aggressive defense to governmental entities in Section 1983 civil rights, employment, zoning, and personal injury claims in both Ohio and federal courts at administrative, trial, and appellate levels
• FMLA and wage and hour disputes
• Successfully defended law enforcement and municipalities against claims of excessive force, search and seizure, and discrimination
• Has proviced representation regarding public sector labor and other procedural substantive issues
• Representation of local school districts and insurance consortiums
• Prepared public school policies for board review; attended public school board meetings, including preparation of board books, continued agendas, resolutions, minutes and other materials.
• Has provided general liability representation of public health systems and school districts
• Has provided general corportate representation of public health systems and school districts
