BMD has successfully represented debtors' and creditors' interests in bankruptcy proceedings in Ohio and Florida, as well as many other jurisdictions throughout the country. Additionally, we counsel financially troubled companies and high-net-worth individuals outside of bankruptcy proceedings on their restructuring alternatives, including but not limited to assignments for the benefit of creditors and forbearance agreements.

We have substantial experience in all Ohio and Florida bankruptcy courts in litigating disputes in bankruptcy, including fraudulent conveyances, preferences, objections to exemptions and acting as special litigation counsel for bankruptcy trustees.

BMD has served as debtor's counsel in many complex bankruptcy cases under Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11. The firm's experienced attorneys have also helped buyers and sellers liquidate and acquire distressed assets under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code.

BMD regularly represents business debtors, Chapter 7 Trustees, creditors and unsecured creditor committees in bankruptcy proceedings. We are experienced in defending and prosecuting preference claims, fraudulent transfer litigation, obtaining relief from stay and other bankruptcy litigation matters.

Our bankruptcy clients include debtors, banks and other institutional lenders, and trustees in all types of bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
