BMD partners with Community Legal Aid every year to help underserved individuals struggling with legal problems. The Law Clinic offers need-based legal help.

BMD in partnership with Community Legal Aid will hold its sixth pro-bono clinic in Akron on April 6, 2024. Thanks to Member Duriya Dhinojwala (who chairs BMD Akron's Pro Bob Committee) for coordinating.

This unique partnership between BMD and Community Legal Aid, which launched in 2018, offers a half-day Saturday clinic at a local elementary school. In the past five years, the clinic has reached more than 300 Akron residents who otherwise, would not have had access to speaking with attorneys regarding their legal concern.

As a community leader, BMD understands the importance of our professional responsibility to giving back. Our firm’s core values are aligned with empowering others and ensuring that we take care of individuals in our community that need our help the most. BMD looks forward to building upon the past success of the Neighborhood Law Clinic as we remain steadfast in our commitment to pro bono work in service to our community.
