The business law firm of Brennan, Manna, Diamond (BMD) – with nearly 80 attorneys and ten offices in Ohio, Florida and Arizona – has announced its acquisition of The Alpern Law Firm, located in the Warren/Youngstown, Ohio area, which brings the total number of BMD offices to 11.

The acquisition is part of BMD’s strategic growth plan to deepen the strength of its Estate, Tax, & Wealth Planning practice area, increase presence in the Warren/Youngstown area of Ohio and increase client experience and engagement. BMD will maintain the current Alpern law office, located at 8600 East Market Street, Suite 1, Howland (Warren), Ohio 44484.

Jack Alpern, Founder and Shareholder of the Alpern Firm, focuses on providing asset protection and business planning, estate planning, retirement planning, incapacity planning, special needs planning, as well as trust administration and probate services to individuals and families across seven counties. Alpern and his team follow the O’Brien Team, who joined BMD’s Estate, Tax, & Wealth Planning practice in January.

Mr. Alpern has been a frequent lecturer throughout his career, presenting at more than two hundred educational seminars, both public and private, on the subject of estate planning. He was one of five featured presenters at the nationally streamed 2022 Estate & Charitable Gift Planning Institute sponsored by The Salvation Army, offered to attorneys, trust officers, and financial advisors throughout the country. Mr. Alpern is a member of the State Bar of Ohio and the Ohio State and Trumbull County Bar Associations. He is also a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, where he has served as Advisory Board and Educational Advisory Board member.

Also joining the BMD family will be Alpern paralegals Laura A. Easton and Jessica L. Patterson.
