Overview
Jeremy recently joined BMD’s office in Orlando, the city he has called home for his entire 22-year legal career. As well as specializing in the representation of lending institutions and private lenders offering real estate secured, asset secured and mezzanine loans, Jeremy represents landlords, tenants, investors and developers in a wide array of commercial real estate transactions. Notably he represented Major League Baseball for its acquisition and subsequent disposition of an entire spring training facility in Brevard County, Florida (following the bankruptcy and dissolution of the Montreal Expos), and he played a key role in assisting The Villages general counsel with its planned expansion. Jeremy is familiar with all forms of secured finance, general real estate (including acquisition, disposition, easement grants, license grants, etc.) and leasing (representing both landlords and tenants), as well as with condominium development and document preparation (including for residential, commercial and mixed-use condominium facilities, as well as for conversions).
