Richard is a litigator who counsels clients through commercial and employment disputes. Richard has handled litigation matters, large and small, for a variety of business, healthcare, and individual clients in a variety of industries and specialties. Richard also regularly counsels clients through labor and employment disputes to resolution, often employing mediation and alternative dispute resolution, as well as other creative solutions, to achieve the best result for his client.

Richard represents privately held and non-profit corporations, healthcare institutions, and employers of all sizes in a variety of commercial and employment disputes.  Formerly in-house counsel to several large non-profits in Northeast Ohio, Richard’s diverse and multi-faceted legal experience gives him a framework to tackle a diverse set of legal issues and achieve optimum results.

  • Yogen Saunthararajah v. Santhosh Vadivelu, et al., Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Case No. CV-18-898044 (represented the plaintiff-physician in a complex lawsuit involving claims of fraud, breach of contract, and injunctive relief over plaintiff’s ownership of the company in dispute and his control of incredibly valuable intellectual property rights in the biotechnology field, resulting in a favorable settlement for the client)
