Shalini Bhatia
Of Counsel
Shalini is an attorney in BMD's Cleveland office, developing her practice in the area of healthcare and hospital law. She works primarily on transactional and healthcare regulatory matters. Prior to joining BMD, Shalini gained experience in both pre-litigation and litigation work in the practice areas of family law, employment law, and technology and intellectual property law. Shalini also worked with the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA) as an Attorney Advisor on Medicare appeals decisions and is licensed in Ohio and Tennessee.

Overview
Shalini has worked in the federal government as well as the private sector in several practice areas. She is now expanding her practice to include healthcare and hospital law, which has been her passion from the inception of her career. Since most of her family and friends are practicing professionals in the healthcare industry, Shalini has closely observed the impact that regulations, public health initiatives, and public policies have on healthcare in America. Shalini strives to help clients optimize their operations so they can better serve their communities.
