BMD Welcomes Robyn Hattaway as Of Counsel in Orlando

Press Release

ORLANDO, FL –– February 23, 2026 –– Brennan Manna Diamond (BMD) is pleased to announce that Robyn Hattaway has joined the firm's Orlando office as Of Counsel.

Licensed in Florida and Georgia, Robyn brings more than 15 years of experience advising businesses, physicians, property owners, and public entities on complex legal and regulatory matters. She represents new businesses navigating start-up challenges and established enterprises pursuing strategic, sustainable growth.

“Robyn is a tremendous addition to our Orlando office,” said Robert Lee, Managing Partner of BMD’s Orlando office. “Her blend of practical business counseling and experience with complex legal and regulatory matters will be a strong asset for our clients. Her thoughtful approach and deep engagement in the community aligns with the values and goals of our firm.”

Robyn’s practice spans the space and aerospace industries, advanced manufacturing and thin-film technologies, healthcare professionals ranging from solo practitioners to growing physician groups, real estate investors, franchises, and other business ventures. Robyn advises on corporate governance, business structuring, finance, compliance, and risk-management matters. She drafts and negotiates operating agreements, sales contracts, commercial leases, franchise agreements, lending transactions, and employment agreements, and guides clients through transactions involving multiple stakeholders, including lenders, regulators, and public-sector entities.

In addition to her transactional work, Robyn has experience in business, real-property, and franchise litigation, as well as responding to regulatory and consumer complaints from state and federal agencies. She takes a practical, collaborative approach, serving as an extension of her clients’ leadership teams and building legal infrastructure that supports long-term business objectives.

Robyn previously served as an elected Commissioner and Treasurer of the Canaveral Port Authority. She brings experience in local government, land use, and public-sector decision-making, including representing clients before municipal boards and advising on regulatory and policy matters involving public entities. She remains active in the Space Coast community and serves on the boards of Ascend Brevard, Family Promise of Brevard, Health First Foundation, and LEAD Brevard.

“As the Space Coast continues its remarkable expansion, from emerging small businesses to major commercial space partnerships and growing healthcare systems, our legal needs are becoming more sophisticated,” said Robyn. “I am excited to join a firm with the breadth and depth to meet that moment. With strong healthcare, transactional, and litigation capabilities, we are uniquely positioned to help our clients lead and thrive in this dynamic region.”

Robyn earned her J.D. from Emory University and her B.A. in Sociology and Government from The University of Texas at Austin. She resides in Merritt Island with her husband. They have two grown sons and a rescue Labrador named Coupe.
