• Conducting trademark clearance searches to determine whether a proposed business name, product name, logo, or slogan may conflict with existing trademarks of other parties to help clients make informed branding decisions before investing in marketing and product launches
• Conducting trademark infringement reviews to evaluate whether a client's current or proposed branding may infringe another party's trademark rights or whether another party's use may infringe the client's trademark rights
• Preparing and filing trademark applications with the USPTO to obtain federal trademark protection for business names, logos, slogans, and other brand identifiers, while guiding clients through the trademark registration process

• Reviewing intellectual property provisions in contracts to help clients understand how patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, confidential information, licensing rights, ownership provisions, and other intellectual property rights are created, transferred, protected, or restricted under commercial agreements
• Counseling clients on intellectual property protection and enforcement strategies by helping businesses develop, manage, protect, and enforce their intellectual property portfolios through patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing, and enforcement options tailored to their business objectives
