Kyle L. Benson

Attorney

Kyle is an attorney in BMD's Cleveland office developing his practice in the Business & Corporate Group as well as the Estate, Tax & Wealth Planning Group. He is committed to providing timely, thorough, and effective support to both internal and external clients. As a part of the estate planning team, Kyle helps individuals set up powers of attorney, wills, and trust agreements while helping them protect their assets and plan for their future. As a part of the Business and Corporate team, he assists with entity formation, contract negotiation, and the preparation of complex transaction documents. Kyle is known for his responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and manage unexpected challenges.

Overview

Prior to admission into the Ohio Bar, Kyle was a law clerk in BMD’s Summer Associate Program in 2023 and 2024. During that time, he gained hands-on experience drafting estate plans, conducting in-depth legal research, and reviewing transactional documents.

During his time at the University of Akron School of Law, Kyle was a member of the Re-entry Clinic where he volunteered to help prior criminals get a second chance. Additionally, Kyle volunteered through Ohio’s Ombudsman program to help protect the rights of residents at local long-term care facilities.

In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing sports, trying new restaurants, and going on walks with his dog Riley.
