A Team Win: BMD's Partnership Secures Complete Defense Verdict

In a recent six-day jury trial, BMD client Xcess Limited, a company in the retail liquidation industry, faced a claim for more than $220,000 in alleged lost profits. With support from BMD, Xcess's General Counsel secured a complete defense verdict, with the jury awarding nothing on all four claims.

The victory was a true collaboration. BMD acted as a seamless extension of Xcess's in-house legal team, assisting with trial preparation, providing strategic advice, and conducting research that empowered the General Counsel to successfully try the case.
