Kyla is an attorney in BMD's Jacksonville office whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation and business-related matters. She represents individuals, businesses, and financial institutions in state and federal courts, while also advising clients on governance, contractual, and regulatory issues. Kyla approaches her practice with a client-centered mindset grounded in careful analysis, practical strategy, and clear communication. She is committed to delivering precise, high-quality work, while remaining responsive and proactive throughout every stage of a matter.

Kyla's practice encompasses complex civil litigation in state and federal courts, as well as regulatory, governance, and business-related matters. In addition to courtroom advocacy, she advises on risk mitigation, assists with corporate drafting and contractual matters, and supports clients navigating land use and governmental issues.

Kyla earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was actively involved in academic and advocacy initiatives, including participation in the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review and Southern Journal of Policy and Justice. Kyla's federal judicial internships with the United States District Court and United States Magistrate Court further strengthened her analytical foundation through in-depth statutory research, procedural analysis, and preparation of proposed judicial orders.

As a Jacksonville native, Kyla is deeply invested in the community she serves. She is actively involved in local civic and professional organizations and believes strongly in giving back to the city that shaped her. Outside of her practice, Kyla enjoys supporting local businesses, spending time with family and friends, and participating in initiatives that strengthen Jacksonville's professional and nonprofit landscape.
