Brennan, Manna & Diamond Shares Promotion Announcements in 25th Anniversary Year

Brennan, Manna & Diamond (BMD), a multi-regional business law firm, celebrates the promotion of two attorneys to Member. As BMD reflects on its strong 25-year history, these promotions reaffirm the firm’s entrepreneurial spirit for continued growth and success over the next 25 years.

BMD congratulates Mathew Doney and Alicia Kupcinskas on their promotions to Member.  

Mathew Doney has been promoted to Member in BMD’s Cleveland office. Matt is a commercial litigator with experience in construction law, labor disputes, financial services, product liability, environmental law, real estate, and workers’ compensation. He represents clients in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration forums such as the American Arbitration Association and FINRA and has first-chair experience at all stages of litigation. Matt is recognized as a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers® and Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch and previously served as an extern for the Supreme Court of Ohio and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Matt and his family reside in Copley.

Alicia Kupcinskas has been promoted to Member in BMD’s Jacksonville office. Her practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation involving real estate, banking, business, and contractual disputes. She has represented clients in both state and federal courts, including small and local businesses in the Jacksonville community. Her experience also encompasses probate actions and complex creditors’ rights, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies. She is a member of the Ladies Executive Golf Society Jacksonville Chapter and resides in Jacksonville with her family.

Press Release: Fluresh Completes Historic Cannabis Industry Financing With $48 Million in Engagements From Federally Chartered Bank

Fluresh LLC, one of the largest vertically integrated cannabis operators in Michigan, announced today the closing of a senior secured note with a federally regulated commercial bank headquartered in southeast Michigan. The secured Bank Note closed on December 28, 2021, and is for aggregate gross proceeds of $25 million. The Bank Note has a variable interest rate and, at the time of closing, bore an interest rate of 5.75% per annum with 50% of the aggregate proceeds capped at 7.0%.
